FCL 20ft / 40ft / 40HC
Sealed container reserved exclusively for your shipment — standard 20ft, 40ft, and 40-foot high-cube where the cargo profile needs the extra cube.
Three ways to ship cargo internationally from Malaysia, and the right one depends on your volume, your timeline, and your budget. Florette Relocation runs all three from Port Klang — full-container FCL for households and commercial cargo with their own container, less-than-container LCL for partial shipments, and Groupage Advantage shared-container service with monthly departures.
FCL, LCL, and our flagship groupage service — consolidated under one project manager, one insurance policy, one written quote.
Sealed container reserved exclusively for your shipment — standard 20ft, 40ft, and 40-foot high-cube where the cargo profile needs the extra cube.
Shared-container shipping for partial loads — pay per cubic metre, with our monthly groupage sailings 30–50% cheaper than ad-hoc LCL.
Direct sailings ex Port Klang and PTP to India, UAE, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the USA — routing chosen on transit time and cost, not convenience.
Export docs in Malaysia, destination clearance through partner agents — TR India, ToR UK, GCC personal effects, AQIS Australia handled as standard.
One project manager runs every booking from survey to door delivery, with three container options sized to actual volume.
Your goods travel in a sealed 20-foot or 40-foot container reserved exclusively for you. Fastest transit, best for full households and commercial cargo.
International moving
Your goods share a container with other shipments. Best when you have under 10–15 cubic metres, are shipping excess baggage, or want to ship now without waiting for the monthly groupage sailing.

Most of what we ship from Malaysia falls into three volume bands. The numbers below are the shapes we see most often — a small family fitting 20ft FCL, a full home filling 40ft, and partial loads consolidated through LCL or groupage. After the survey we'll recommend the actual right option based on measured cubic metres, not a guess.
Roughly 25–28 cbm. 1–2 bedroom apartment, basic appliances, no oversized furniture. Sealed container, fastest transit, exclusive use.
Roughly 55–65 cbm. 3–4 bedroom house, full appliance set, room for a vehicle in 40HC variant. Door-to-door with customs both ends.
5–15 cbm. Excess baggage, partial moves, or single-room consolidations. Shared container, monthly groupage sailings for cheapest cost.
FCL door-to-door from Port Klang:
LCL adds 5-10 days for consolidation. Groupage timing depends on the next monthly sailing — confirmed at quote stage.
Free home survey (or video survey for remote requests). Written itemised quote in 24 hours. Professional packing to international shipping standard. Export documentation in Malaysia. Sea freight via Port Klang to destination port. Destination customs clearance through partner network. Door delivery at destination address. All Risk transit insurance via Berjaya Insurance Berhad. For FCL clients: one free pickup of leftover boxes after delivery.
FCL works if your shipment is 25+ cbm or you need fast transit. LCL fits when you have 10-25 cbm and want flexibility on timing. Groupage gives the cheapest cost when your shipment is under 15 cbm and you can plan 4-6 weeks ahead. We'll recommend the right option after the survey based on actual volume, not what you think you have.
We handle export documentation in Malaysia. At destination, our partner agent clears imports (duties, where applicable, are payable by you per local law). Country-specific facilities we handle: Transfer of Residence (India), ToR (UK), GCC personal effects clearance (UAE), AQIS biosecurity (Australia). What looks like paperwork hell to a one-time shipper is routine work for our team.

40ft FCL from KL to Chennai. Survey on Monday, quote on Tuesday, packed and loaded the next week. Customs through TR cleared clean. The same PM stayed across the whole shipment.
Groupage sailing to Jebel Ali saved us about a third on cost versus the LCL quotes we'd seen elsewhere. Insurance was bundled in, paperwork at the Dubai end was handled. No surprises on the invoice.
Indicative bands only — final quote depends on actual cubic metres, destination, and routing. All bands include packing, export docs, sea freight, destination clearance, door delivery and Berjaya transit insurance.
For partial loads, excess baggage, and shipments under 15 cbm. Groupage sailings depart Port Klang monthly.
Sealed container, exclusive use, fastest transit. Best for 1–2 bedroom homes and small-family relocations.
Forty-foot high-cube container — full home plus a vehicle loaded inside. For 3–4 bedroom houses moving end-to-end.
The questions clients ask us most often before booking a container.
FCL = your own sealed container, fastest transit, best for full households. LCL = your goods share a container with other shipments, calculated per cubic metre, suits 10-25 cbm shipments.
Groupage is our scheduled monthly shared-container service — typically 30-50% cheaper than LCL because the schedule is fixed and consolidation is efficient. LCL is "next available consolidation" with more flexibility on timing but higher per-cbm cost.
FCL 20ft to India from RM 15,000-18,000. FCL 40ft from RM 20,000. LCL excess baggage to India from RM 3,500. Groupage rates lower than LCL — confirmed at quote stage based on actual cubic metre volume.
FCL door-to-door: Chennai 10 days, Jebel Ali 15 days, Doha 20 days, Jakarta and Bangkok 5 days, Shanghai 8 days, Rotterdam 20 days, New York 30 days. LCL adds 5-10 days for consolidation.
